Halloween treat boxes

Hello my friends,

October is here!!! And Halloween is around the corner.
My favorite part is watching all the kids with their cute costumes.
Some are very creative.  My grand daughter's are going to be
a leopard and a cheetah.  They are so excited.

Today I want to share with you some Halloween treat boxes I created.
These are also my DT project this month with FlairByMe.
All the laces I used as well as the buttons are from her shop.
They were so much fun to create.  For the legs I used the cricut
cartridge "Happy Haunting."

I will be adding some goodies and giving 3 of them to my grand
daughter's teachers and the other 2 are for my daughters.
Here is my You Tube video for details on how I made them.

I hope you are all having a great day.
Thanks for stopping by.

Card, junk journal and box

Hello my friends.

How is everyone doing today?  Looks like Fall weather is almost
here.  I love the Fall colors but not what follows.... Shhh Winter!
I don't like Winter but I guess it's comforting to know that Spring
will follow.  And that's good.  :-)

So today I want to share 3 things I made for my design team project

I used a lot of beautiful items from Mel's shop on this card.  I then sent it
to my mother in law for her birthday, along with the following junk journal I
made for her also using items from the shop.

Here is my You Tube video on this card and book if you
want to check them out more closely.
I also altered the following box.

Now this little box was fun.  I believe I picked it up once at
the dollar store.  It's very simple yet cute.  Here is the
You Tube video on this altered box.

And that is it for today.  I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

Orange you glad…

Hello everyone,

This past June when the school year ended I gave the
teachers orange bags.  Eveything inside the bag was orange.
I added a tag that said "Orange you glad it's summer?"
The teachers loved it.  These teachers worked during the summer
as well half a day, but they still love it.

This is the 2nd year I've done this and it's been a hit both time.

I hope you try it out.  Between the sentiment and the contents, I promise
you that it will be fun to give as well as receive.
Here is my You Tube video if you would like to see it closer.

Take care everyone.

Quotes on canvas

Hello friends,  I'm back this time with a couple of
my favorite quotes that I added each to a canvas.  I had a
great time making them.

For the first one I used an old book.  I cut some of the pages
out and used Mod Podge to adhere them down to the canvas.
The letters were cut with my Cricut expression using the letters
for the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge.  After the letter were down I
went ahead and used Mod Podge all over it to seal every thing down.

Here is my 2nd one.

For this one I sprayed it down using Lindys sprays.
Ocean Breeze Blue and Whale Watch Blue.
On this one I cut the letters from the cartridge Jasmine, using my
Cricut expression again.  Then once again I
sealed everything with Mod Podge.

And those are my two canvas.  I will be making more of them since it
was fun making them.  I hope you give it a try as well.

Have a great day

Die Cutting Divas sketch challenge

Hello friends,

I am happy to say that I was asked to be a guest for the
Die Cuttin Divas.   The challenge is a sketch, which is one
of my favorite things to do.   I find it challenging and inspiring.

So here is my take on the sketch that follows:

For my image I choose Olaf.  I used the new Frozen Cricut cartridge.
I had fun cutting him out at about 4 inches.   The paper pad I used is call
"The Sweetest thing ~ tangerine" by My Mind's Eye.

I hope you're having a great day and thanks again Diva's for having me
as your guest.

Hugs,
Yvette

Fancy Pillow Boxes

Hello there

I hope everyone is doing well and being creative.
Today I want to share with you a project I made for
Mel's Craft Boutique .  For my design team project I created some
pillow boxes using my memory keepers pillow box punch.  I do
have to admit that  I got this idea from Pinterest.  I altered them to
look like purses using supplies from Mel's Craft Boutique.

You can add goodies inside and even a gift card fits perfectly.
Here is my YOU TUBE video if you would like to see the details.
Go check out Mel's shop for all the beautiful laces and trims I used
to make these beautiful boxes.

Take care

Farewell cards

Hello Everyone.

I hope everyone is doing well.   Summer is finally here!
I'm super excited, even if it does gets hot.  That's okay with me.
Today I have 8 Farewell cards that I made a couple of months
ago, but I wanted to share them with you.  And here they are:

For this pretty pink one above I used the paper "In Bloom"
by My Minds Eyes.

For this one,  I picked up this pretty purple paper at Micheal's.

I love the shade of blue on this one.  The paper is from
The Graphic 45 Botanical Tea.

This pretty fairy paper is from Prima,
and is call "Princess."

This one is also from the Graphic 45
Botanical Tea.

This is a very pretty paper pad also.  It's from
MME call "Moments."

On this black and white one,  the back round paper
is also MME call "Breeze."  And then I combined it
with the music note paper from my stash.

Last but not least.   The paper pad I used here if from Graphic 45,
"Once Upon a Springtime"

And those are my Farewell cards.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Needle books

Hello my crafty friends,

I am very excited about todays post.  I've been wanting to make
some needle books for a long time now.   And so I finally got a chance
to make them.  I made 3 for my DT project for Mel's Craft Boutique.
I used a lot of items from her store.  She has beautiful laces and
trims, so it was perfect.

They are all pretty similar on the inside.
Every thing was glued down with my hot glue gun.
There is no sewing at all.

I will be making some more soon.  For more details on these
needle books you can check out my You Tube Video.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hugs,
Yvette

Altered Valentine bags.

Hello everyone,

Can you believe it's already mid January?  It's going way to
fast for me.  I feel some times like I need just a few more
hours in my day.

Today I wanted to share with you a few
bags I altered for Valentine's Day. I will be filling them up with
candy.  These are for my DT
project for Mel's Craft Boutique.  She has beautiful items
in her store.

The paper bags I picked up at Target in the dollar section.
All the die cuts are from K & Company.  The felt hearts were
gifted to me.  And all the trims, appliqués and flowers are from Mel's shop.

You need to check her out if you haven't.  And while I'm on her design
team you can use my code "DaileyScrapper" for a discount of 10% off
if you purchase 15.$ or more.  So go check her out.

Hugs,
Yvette
