Halloween treat boxes

Hello my friends,

October is here!!! And Halloween is around the corner.
My favorite part is watching all the kids with their cute costumes.
Some are very creative.  My grand daughter's are going to be
a leopard and a cheetah.  They are so excited.

Today I want to share with you some Halloween treat boxes I created.
These are also my DT project this month with FlairByMe.
All the laces I used as well as the buttons are from her shop.
They were so much fun to create.  For the legs I used the cricut
cartridge "Happy Haunting."

I will be adding some goodies and giving 3 of them to my grand
daughter's teachers and the other 2 are for my daughters.
Here is my You Tube video for details on how I made them.

I hope you are all having a great day.
Thanks for stopping by.

Altered Valentine bags.

Hello everyone,

Can you believe it's already mid January?  It's going way to
fast for me.  I feel some times like I need just a few more
hours in my day.

Today I wanted to share with you a few
bags I altered for Valentine's Day. I will be filling them up with
candy.  These are for my DT
project for Mel's Craft Boutique.  She has beautiful items
in her store.

The paper bags I picked up at Target in the dollar section.
All the die cuts are from K & Company.  The felt hearts were
gifted to me.  And all the trims, appliqués and flowers are from Mel's shop.

You need to check her out if you haven't.  And while I'm on her design
team you can use my code "DaileyScrapper" for a discount of 10% off
if you purchase 15.$ or more.  So go check her out.

 My theme was traditional Valentine.

Everything I used is from Melanie's store.
She has beautiful trims, laces, flowers and buttons, etc.

Altered Shabby Chic Jar

Hello crafters

I hope those who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful
day with their love ones, friends and extended families.  I had a great
day and I'm looking forward to the holidays.

Today I come to share with you my DT project for
Mel's Craft Boutique.  She wanted something shabby chic.
So I found this cute jar at Target and decided to alter it.

I used about 5 different items from her shop.  And I just love
the way it came out.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it like this or add some
pine cones and holly like this next picture.

What do you think?  With or without the pine cones?
Here is my You Tube video
with all the beautiful items I used from Mel's shop to make my project.
And if you use my code "DaileyScrapper" you will
get 10% off if you purchase 15.$ or more.
*This offer is good while I'm on her Design Team.

I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Going Buggy with WW

Happy Wednesday!

Hello my scrappy friends.  I hope you are all having a great summer.
It's Wednesday!!  Another DT Whimsical Wednesday project for
Whimsical Designs.  This week Stephanie challenged us to "go buggy."
We had to create a project that includes an insect or animal.  Our sponsor this week
QKR Stampede was so sweet to let us pick a digi for our projects.  I picked the
beaver.  I love his glasses.  I colored him up with my copic markers.

I made an 8 x 8 layout.  Yes, I am determine to finish my grand daughters mini album.
I didn't layer it to much, again because it's going inside a photo album.  I'm just excited
to finally be working on it.  The paper is from the 12 x 12 "The Neapolitan collection.
Everything else is from my stash.  The sentiment is from the Whimsical fun vol. 1.

Please join us with this challenge.  I would love to see your buggy friends.
The prize is 5 digis of winners choice.

Take care my friends.
Big hugs!

Clean and Simple with WW

Hello there

It's hump day!  And yes!  You got it.  It is time for another challenge with
Whimsical Designs.  This week Stephanie challenged us to made a card
"Clean and Simple" with minimum layers and embellishments.  This was
very hard because I wanted to add and I had to back off!! LOL  I kept
saying to myself "leave it, and walk away."  LOL  And I did :-)
So here it is.... my clean and simple card.

I used paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad "Reunion."  The mushrooms are eye lets that
I had in my stash.  The cute image is from our sponsor this week Crafty Sentiments.
His name is Henry the Mushroom Bear.
She was so sweet to send us each 3 images and I picked this one for today.
And then my sentiment is from Whimsical Designs "Everyday Sentiments."

The winner for this weeks challenge will receive 3 digis of winners choice.

Again thank you for visiting me and please feel free to leave a comment.
Big hugs to all

Hi and Welcome back to Day Two

How exciting!! I'm back with my 2nd project featuring my 2nd image.
I'm Sassy and I know it!!!!!
Yes!  That is our group name and I can't stop singing that!

Today I'm showing you the cutest little girl.  Her name is Abbie II.
In case you missed yesterdays post just scroll down to the post before this one.
My beautiful friend Elsa just released her own stamp set.  10 of them!
They are fun and beautiful.  They will all be available starting tomorrow.
I went ahead and created yet another card.  And, here it is...

I think she is adorable.  As soon as I saw her I though of a card for a sweet little girl.
And I made it happen.  I used the 6 x 6 paper pad "C'est la VIE" by Melissa Frances.
Flowers and ribbon is from Elsa.  The little baby in the cradle is a button I picked up
at Micheals.  Then I finished it off with some pearls from my stash.  I did color her
with my copics as well.

I hope you take the time to see the other images and go over to Elsa's blog.  Tell her
I sent you and she will be picking a winner from my blog for a special prize.  She

Just a Few Desings ~ Day one ~ Stamp Release #1

Hello, hello

Today is a VERY big day!  I am so happy and very proud of my sweet and wonderful
friend Elsa from "Just a few friends".  She has been working very hard for this moment.
And as her friend I am happy to share this wonderful news.  Elsa had created her
very own stamps.  She has drawn all the images herself.  Today her Design Team
named by her as the "The Sassy 6" are featuring some of her new stamps.
There is a total of 10 stamps right now and more coming.  Today is day "one" of
her new release.  But, you want to come back tomorrow because tomorrow will
be day "two" of her new release and then...... Ready??  They will be available for
you on Saturday June 22nd.

Elsa is having giveaways as well as card kits and
mini clear stamps.  You don't want to miss out.  The images are just beautiful.
Go to Elsa's blog and mention that I sent you.  She will be picking one winner
from each of our blogs for a prize.

Here is the card I made using one of the two images she sent me.
Her name is "Andrea's Halo."  I love her wild hair.  It reminds
me of my daughter when she had long hair like that.

For my card I use the Graphic 45 paper "Le Romantique."  As for the
embellishments they were from my stash and from Elsa who was so sweet to
send us a package.  Here is the link to my You Tube Video.
I really hope you liked my card and I hope you come
back tomorrow for "Day Two ~ First Release"

To be sure you see all 10 images you will want to check all our blogs in
the next 2 days.

WW Getting Patriotic

Happy Wednesday!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day.  My daughter and her hubby took
my hubby out to dinner on Saturday and then on Sunday they invited us for dinner.
So I guess it's safe to say he had a good weekend.

For our challenge this week with Whimsical Designs, Stephanie challenge us to make
something patriotic and use the colors red, white and blue.  Our sponsor who is
Eureka Stamps let us have an image for our project.  I picked "Liberty Balloon Holder".
But as you can see I didn't use a balloon.  Actually I didn't even realize her name until
now.  So just pretend, as my grand daughter would say, that you see a balloon.
I think it would look cute. :-)  And here it is...

Everything that I used was from my stash.  Loose paper from Micheals or Joannes.
Stars are from recollection.  The light blue flower with the clear stone you see
was made by Stephanie herself about a year ago when we participated in a swap
together.  The sentiment is from her stamp set "Everyday Sentiments"

Our sponsor will be giving away 5 digis of the winners choice.
Good luck and I will be back soon with another project.

hugs

Beach Bum Lucky

Hello there

How are you all doing?  Today I want to share a simple card with you that
I created for my DT project with SNSC.  I decided to use Beach Bum Lucky
since it's hot out and a lot of people are thinking about the beach.  So, here is my
cute and simple sweet card.

I used the 6 x 6 paper pad call "Sunshowers" by Heidi Grace.  The chipboard
embellissements are from Me and My big ideas.  I also added a piece of mesh that
I had in my stash. I did color Lucky with my copics and popped him
up with pop dots.  And so my sweet friends this is my simple card for today. :-)
I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far.
You Tube Video  for this card.

Stay safe and big hugs

Vintage

Hello there

How is everyone doing?  Here in Virginia we are enjoying our
Cicadas.  Yes, every 17 years they come out and they are very loud.  But
very interesting.  I know it's driving a lot of people crazy but I'm actually
enjoying them.  I mean think about it, every 17 years.  That's pretty cool.
Oh and did I mention as long as they don't touch me that it.  LOL

Today Stephanie at Whimsical Wednesday challenge
us to create something Vintage.  All she asked was for us to give it a Vintage feel.

I altered a small box using Graphic 45 paper "Le Romantique".
I used gold acrylic paint on the box and then Mod Podge to place the paper down.
I added a couple of flowers and added some gold glitter on the edges. Then I added
a Tim Holts ornate plate.  Inside the plate I added the sentiment "Sweet friend"
from the "Everyday Sentiments" stamp set.

Our Sponsor this week isScrapping Memories
The prize is 5 free files of winner's choice.

Thank you for dropping by.  I can't wait to see your Vintage creation.
Have a great day

Recycle it

Hello my sweet friend

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you all had a great Memorial weekend.  I was on
vacation last week and had a great time.  Visiting Williamsburg VA and it's
history was very exciting.  So enough about me, this week my DT project for
Whimsical Designs is "Recycle it."  Our challenge was to
create any project and use something you would normally throw out.
So I decided to make a smash book and use a cereal box for my front and back
cover.  I also recycled old composition paper I found in my daughter's closet
from when she was in High School.  LOL  she's 23 now!!

My smash book / Junk journal is 6 X 9.  I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the
cereal box.  I then cut the composition paper to the same size.  The inner inserts were
old scrap paper I had in my stash.  I added a chain and some charms, including the keys
which are from Micheal's dollar bin.  Both sentiments are from Whimsical Fun Vol. 1

My YT video for this project is HERE.
Lets see what you have to recycle.

Our Sponsor this week is: Inky Impressions - $10 gift certificate
http://www.inkyimpressionsrubberstamps.com/

I hope you enjoyed my Smash books / Junk journals.
Have a great day!

"Mix it up"

Happy Wednesday!!

How is everyone?  Great I hope :-)  As you know, it's time for another
Whimsical Designs  challenge.  Today the challenge is "Mix it up".
We had to create a project using some type of mixed media.
Here is my project....

I first glued down some canvas paper to my tag using Mod Podge.
I then sprayed some of Lindys spray.  Ocean Breeze blue, Plumeria Pink
and Aloha Avocado.  I also used some stencils with molding paste.
Flowers are IAM and Wild Orchids.  I cut the chair with my Cricut using the
Heritage cartridge, which I then sprayed with Sugar Plum Fairy Glimmer Mist.
The sentiment is from Whimsical fun Vol.1.  The image I've had for a while
so I don't remember where I got it from.  And then to finish it off some lace at
the bottom, and trim on top.  I gave it to my mom along with her Mother's Day
present and she loved it.  Yay!

Our sponsor this week is Tabitha's Shop.  2 digi paper stacks of winner's choice.

Take care my friends and I can't wait to see what type of mix media you will
be creating.  I will be looking.  Don't for get to tell me what you think of mine.
hugs my friends,
Yvette

Alter it

Happy Wednesday!

How is everyone?  Good I hope.  Yay!  Half the week is over.  Just a little
more to go.  Well you also know what Wednesday is right?  Yes another
Whimsical Wednesday challenge.  This week we were challenged to alter
something.  I got this clip in a RAK once.  I think it was from my friend
Friday.  I've been wanting to alter it for a while, and this is what I did.

I used the "Fairy Rymes"  6 x 6 paper from Prima.  Just beautiful paper.
The flower was from my stash, and the birdies are from Recollection.
And that's it.  A very simple but cute project.

Our Sponsor this week is V's Sweet Ideas.
The prize is a $10 gift certificate
Well I hope you all have a great rest of the week.
See you soon.

"Bling"

Hello Beautiful Bloogers

It's Wednesday!! The middle of the week!  To me it means,  just a
couple more days for the weekend.  Humm do I sound excited?  I have
no idea why because I do have to work on Saturday, but I don't mind it
at all.  I like it and it's still "the weekend!!"  Wooo Hooo!

So for today's project with Whimsical Designs, our theme is "Bling."
That's an easy one, right?  I made this birthday card for my grand daughters
to give to their Mom for Mommy's Birthday.  They loved it and so
did my daughter.

And here it is.....

The paper that I used is from the 12 x 12 stack "The Neapolitan Collection"
by Recollections.  The banner is from the paper also which I stamped the letters
using my wooden stamps.   Flowers are from Michael's, turtle from Jolee's Boutique.
The little strawberries are eye lets.
BLING! yes,  I added bling in 3 different places.  Even a little one on her bow.

The image I used is from our Sponsor this week.  Her name is
Strawberry Emma.  They let us pick one.  OMG, There were so many
to pick from but I loved this one.  Soooo cute!!

Sponsor: The Paper Nest Dolls - 3 copics of winner's choice,
5 if they use a Paper Nest Dolls image

That's right!  Copic Markers!!!!

So go on over and add your project.
Have a beautiful day.

Graphicat Sketch #25

Hi there!!

It's Monday!  Is everyone ready for a new week?  I always have the hardest
time getting up on Monday mornings then any other day of the week.
But we must get up!  Then by Tuesday I'm ok. LOL
Today is my oldest daughter's Birthday.  Yes time does fly.  So a big shout
out to her.   Happy Birthday Sweetie.  I love you!

Okay so today I have for you my DT project with
Graphicat Sketches.  Sketch #25

I used the 6 x 6 paper "En Francais" by Prima.  The sentiment is from Cheri herself
with Graphicat.  I used "mini fanciful flourish." The flowers are from IAR and the metal
corner is from Monica at the scrapyard on Facebook.

Here is sketch #25 for you... and please note that the date should
be April 29 to May 13 not 20.

And that's about it.  Hope you all have an awesome week.
Don't forget to leave a comment.  I love reading your comments.
