Altered Shabby Chic Jar

Hello crafters

I hope those who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful
day with their love ones, friends and extended families.  I had a great
day and I'm looking forward to the holidays.

Today I come to share with you my DT project for
Mel's Craft Boutique.  She wanted something shabby chic.
So I found this cute jar at Target and decided to alter it.

I used about 5 different items from her shop.  And I just love
the way it came out.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it like this or add some
pine cones and holly like this next picture.

What do you think?  With or without the pine cones?
Here is my You Tube video
with all the beautiful items I used from Mel's shop to make my project.
And if you use my code "DaileyScrapper" you will
get 10% off if you purchase 15.$ or more.
*This offer is good while I'm on her Design Team.

I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs,
Yvette

Witches broom treat bag

Hello everyone.

It's been a while since I've post anything.   Happy Halloween to those
who celebrate.   I had a great time with my grand daughters.  It's always
fun looking at all the costumes.

My daughter found on Pinterest a "broom treat bag" and asked me to make
some for her so that she can take to work.  I found the link on how to make
it and I made 22 bags for her and an extra one for a friend.  It was easy and fun!

All I used for each bag was 2 brown paper bags and a branch from my
back yard.  I stamped "trick or treat" with a stamp on white card stock and
backed it up with black card stock.  I then filled it up with candy and tied it
up with twine.  That was it, fun and easy.  Here is my YT Video on how I put
it together.

I hope you try it as well.
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Yvette

Creative Color Challenge #14

Hi everyone

How is your summer going?  Mine is great so far.
Today I wanted to share with you my Color Challenge.
As some of you know Archana has a
Color Challenge every month.  I just love the color
palett she picked out this month.  They are
red, bhite and Blue.  And you must use a banner.
This is the card I am entering this month.

And here is her color palette.

I used regular blue and white card stock for the background.
The red paper is from My mind's eye "Quilting Bee."
The banner is from another paper also by My minds's eye call
"Playdate"  The HELLO is a wood veneer that I picked up
at Micheal's.  And the beautiful fence is a spellbinders die.

So that's it my friends.  You might want to go over and join
the challenge.  I'm mailing this card to my Dad who's birthday
was on July 4th.   I know,  just a few days late LOL

Thanks for stopping by

Orange you glad summer is here!

Hello my crafty friends.

Yes, summer is finally here.  This was one long winter we had.
Now it's warm and I am happy.  Kids are even happier
to be done with another school year.  Yay!

Today I wanted to share with you what I made for the teacher last
day of school.  I found this great idea on Pinterest.  Don't you love
Pinterest?  I do.  LOL  I have two grand daughters and between the
two of them there were 5 teachers.

I picked up 5 white gift bags at Party City and spray them down with
Lindys spray.  I used  "Magical Mai Tai" and "Tears on My Pillow Tangerine."
I then gather a few things with orange color.  Like a beach towel,
an orange pouch, orange soda, orange gum, orange candy wrap and
even suntan lotion in an orange tube.
Here is my YT video if you're interested in the details.

And that was their gift.  "Orange you glad summer is here."
I hope you are all happy as well and I wish you all a
great summer.

Color challenge for Archana

Hello my craft friends

It's been a while since I've posted any thing.
I hope you are all doing well.
Today I wanted to share a card I made for a challenge.
Our sweet friend Archana has challenge us to create a card
using 3 colors from the picture below and use a stick pin.

The colors are just beautiful.  And here is my 5 X 51/2
card that I created.

I am super excited that I found the paper pad "Bonjour" by Kaiser Craft,
It had all the colors I needed.  My image is Miss Anya.
I added a beautiful stick pin given to me by my
friend Stephanie.  I also stamp a Prima doily stamp
that my sweet friend Iley gave my for my birthday.
The butterflies are from the paper collection and every
thing else is from my stash.
Here is the link to my You tube video for this card.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Scrappy day!!!

Wedding card

Hello my crafty friends.

I hope everyone is having a great time.  This winter was very long and cold
and so I'm loving these pretty days we are having right now.

Yesterday I went to a wedding and this is the card I made for them.

I used the "Something Blue" 6 x 6 paper by Prima.  Isn't it beautiful?
I added some flowers that I purchased from Archana and the bigger
flower is from Lavish Laces.  I found this free image on pinterest, so
I printed it, and colored it with my copics.  Then I added some.
lace, pearls, a heart doilie, and there was my wedding card.
I love the way it came out.

I hope this inspires you to make a card as well.
Enjoy your day crafters :-)

Lindy's February Color Challenge.

Hello my crafty friends

How are you?  Warm I hope.  I don't know about you but this
has been a very long winter here in Virginia.  At least that's how it feels
like to me.  LOL

I am here today with a project I created for Lindy's February color challenge.
Here are the colors for the challenge.   You have to use at
least two of the colors.  And of course any of their products.

For my project I used 3 of their products.  I used Ocean Breeze Blue
And here is my project:

I created a tag using the Graphic 45 paper Coulture.  The blue flowers are sprayed
with Ocean Breeze Blue.  The handmade flower as well as the pink seam binding
is sprayed with Hottie Patottie Hot Pink.  The lace at the bottom was white and
is now sprayed with the Gregarious Grey.  Every thing else if from my stash.

I hope you like my entry and that you are having a wonderful day.
Here is my YT video for details of my tag.
Thanks for coming by.

File Folder Brag Books

Hello there!

It's been a while since my last post.  I hope you are all doing well.
Today I wanted to share these super cute brag books I made for a friend
using 2 file folders on each.  I followed Tamika's tutorial on her YT channel.
Here is her link:  10 min File Folder book.  It's quick, easy and fun to make.

They are both 4 X 6.   I used Graphic 45 Little Darling paper on both
of them and some goodies from my stash.   For more details you can check
out my YT video.

I hope you like them and make one for yourself.
Take care and stay warm.  This has been one cold winter.  :-)

hugs,
Yvette
