Card, junk journal and box

Hello my friends.

How is everyone doing today?  Looks like Fall weather is almost
here.  I love the Fall colors but not what follows.... Shhh Winter!
I don't like Winter but I guess it's comforting to know that Spring
will follow.  And that's good.  :-)

So today I want to share 3 things I made for my design team project

I used a lot of beautiful items from Mel's shop on this card.  I then sent it
to my mother in law for her birthday, along with the following junk journal I
made for her also using items from the shop.

Here is my You Tube video on this card and book if you
want to check them out more closely.
I also altered the following box.

Now this little box was fun.  I believe I picked it up once at
the dollar store.  It's very simple yet cute.  Here is the
You Tube video on this altered box.

And that is it for today.  I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

Yvette

Orange you glad…

Hello everyone,

This past June when the school year ended I gave the
teachers orange bags.  Eveything inside the bag was orange.
I added a tag that said "Orange you glad it's summer?"
The teachers loved it.  These teachers worked during the summer
as well half a day, but they still love it.

This is the 2nd year I've done this and it's been a hit both time.

I hope you try it out.  Between the sentiment and the contents, I promise
you that it will be fun to give as well as receive.
Here is my You Tube video if you would like to see it closer.

Take care everyone.

Quotes on canvas

Hello friends,  I'm back this time with a couple of
my favorite quotes that I added each to a canvas.  I had a
great time making them.

For the first one I used an old book.  I cut some of the pages
out and used Mod Podge to adhere them down to the canvas.
The letters were cut with my Cricut expression using the letters
for the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge.  After the letter were down I
went ahead and used Mod Podge all over it to seal every thing down.

Here is my 2nd one.

For this one I sprayed it down using Lindys sprays.
Ocean Breeze Blue and Whale Watch Blue.
On this one I cut the letters from the cartridge Jasmine, using my
Cricut expression again.  Then once again I
sealed everything with Mod Podge.

And those are my two canvas.  I will be making more of them since it
was fun making them.  I hope you give it a try as well.

Have a great day

Die Cutting Divas sketch challenge

Hello friends,

I am happy to say that I was asked to be a guest for the
Die Cuttin Divas.   The challenge is a sketch, which is one
of my favorite things to do.   I find it challenging and inspiring.

So here is my take on the sketch that follows:

For my image I choose Olaf.  I used the new Frozen Cricut cartridge.
I had fun cutting him out at about 4 inches.   The paper pad I used is call
"The Sweetest thing ~ tangerine" by My Mind's Eye.

I hope you're having a great day and thanks again Diva's for having me
as your guest.

Hugs,
Yvette

Fancy Pillow Boxes

Hello there

I hope everyone is doing well and being creative.
Today I want to share with you a project I made for
Mel's Craft Boutique .  For my design team project I created some
pillow boxes using my memory keepers pillow box punch.  I do
have to admit that  I got this idea from Pinterest.  I altered them to
look like purses using supplies from Mel's Craft Boutique.

You can add goodies inside and even a gift card fits perfectly.
Here is my YOU TUBE video if you would like to see the details.
Go check out Mel's shop for all the beautiful laces and trims I used
to make these beautiful boxes.

Take care

Yvette
