Baby Shower

Hello Friends,

Today I'm sharing with you some baby shower ideas.
I made these for my nieces baby shower.  She wanted a woodsie theme.
And I'm happy to say that she was very happy with every thing I made.

I love how the diaper cake came out.
The critters I used were cut out with my Cricut machine.  I used the
"Create a Critter" cartridge.  One of my favorite cartridges.  I bought the fox that's on
top at Walmart.  I used trim, shredded paper grass and Medium size diapers.

But I didn't stop with the diaper cake.  I added a couple of them to paper
gift bag.  So super cute!  And then I made head bands as souvenirs
for our party guest.  The kids especially loved them.

I ordered the head bands from Amazon and just hot glued the
critters to the top.

I then took a box and covered it up with card stock paper from the
Accomplished collection by Authentique.  The banner was
made from Burlap material. I just cut it into triangles and added some
chipboard letters to spell out the word "cards."

I hope this inspired you for your next baby shower.
Thanks for coming by.

Gorjuss note cards

Hello friends,

Today I'm sharing with you a couple of note cards I made using
the Santoro's gorjuss girls stamps.  I just love them.  They remind me
so much of my girls and even myself growing up.

I used my copic markers to color them up.
These were for my grand daughters teachers.  I thought it
would be perfect for them since the gorjuss girls are
standing on books.   I did nothing else but
pop up the images with pop-dots.   They are an A2 size card using white
card stock.  Which then I layered with pink card stock and finished it
up with a designer one on top.  Very simple and yet super cute.

This is the stamp set I used.

I hope you try a set of note cards as well and have fun.

Hugs,

Yvette

Fall and Halloween decor

Hello, hello!!

I hope you are all doing well.  Today I wanted to share with you a couple of
Fall and Halloween decors.   They're very simple and super easy to put together.

My first one is just using any doily, a big plastic spider and a frame of your
choice.   Perfect to display around Halloween time.  Here is also a YT video
of how I put it together. https://youtu.be/_0F_a9Lt5C0

My next one is using a canvas and vinyl. That's it! Very, very simple.
I cut my images with my cricut machine.
The crow and sign, as well as the spider are both from the
Creepy Critters cartridge.   After cutting the images I used transfer paper to place
them down where I wanted.  The canvas size is 8 X 11.

And there you go!  Two great decors that were both fun and easy to put together.
I hope you give it a try as well.

Hugs,
Yvette

Trolls Note Cards

Hello everyone!

Wow!  It's been a while since my last post.
I hope everyone is doing well.  Today I wanted to share with you two
note cards I made using the most adorable trolls.  Since the movie Trolls
came out this year and I love them, I though it would be perfect
to make these for my grand daughter's teachers.

The image if from Sherri Baldy and she is scan 0059.  Which you can find here:

I colored them with my copic markers.  The paper is from a 6 x 6
paper pad call Welcome Spring by American Crafts.

Gifts for teachers

Hello!

I hope all is well with everyone.  It's the end of yet another
school year.  I just can't believe how fast time goes by.

Every year I make orange bags for the teachers.  They are just so
much fun to put together.  I made two of them this year.
"Orange you glad it's summer?"

I picked up an orange gift bag.  Then added a towel,  drinking cup,  soda,
nail polish, gum, gold fish and an orange sewing kit.  I then made them a set
of note cards and placed them inside a small fry box.
The fry box is a die from Stampin Up.

Here is the free file I found for the tag on Pinterest.  I upload it, printed and
cut it out by hand.

I also found something else on Pinterst.  Can you tell I just love Pinterest!
I found the mitt and spatula at the dollar store and then I bought
the cookie dough at the supermarket.  Wrapped a ribbon around the
tag, and there you go.  A great gift for your teacher.

And here is the free download I found and printed.

I hope you find these ideas fun to give your favorite teachers,
or anyone else in your life.

Have a wonder day

Journal books

Hello my wonderful friends,

How is everyone doing?  Looks like Spring is finally
here.  And with beautiful weather comes beautiful weddings.
It's true when they say things come in 3's.  I know 3 couples
that got engaged.  And so I made a journal for each of them.
I used the same paper stack "House of Roses"
For a close look at the first 2 books, check out my
You Tube video  Journal books .
And here they are:
This one is for a co worker on mine.  She's very sweet and
has a good heart.  I'm very happy for her and so I want to wish
her the best.  Congrats Lucy and Jose!!!

This one is for one of our own.  Olga!! She's Madstamper64 on YT.  She's a
great crafter and a sweet heart as well.  She just announced her engagement.
Congrats Olga and Ernesto!!
I wish you guys the best!

And last but not least.  This one is for my future sister in law.
She's a sweetie pie.  I'm very happy for my brother.
Congrats Danny and Catalina.  Love you guys!
Here is the video for this Journal.

My best wishes to all of you.

Yvette

Sock Cupcake

Hello again.  Are you looking for a fun and cool gift.
Here are a couple of Sock Cupcakes I made for my
grand daughters teachers for Valentine's Day.

I cut a strip of pattern paper about 2 inches high.
I then grabbed a pair of Valentine sock and rolled it up.
Then I took the pattern paper and wrapped it around the roll up
sock to make it look like a cupcake.   I then tied a ribbon
and topped it with a heart as a final touch.  I was able to find the
sentiment on Pinterest and just downloaded it and copied it.
I love the final results and the teachers loved them.

I made the next two you see below for my grand daughters.
For them I used stocking instead.  They love fun stockings and
lucky me I was able to find some fun ones on Amazon.  I
also got them some M&M's with their picture of them.

I hope you get to try these as well.  It's something fun and cute
that anyone would love.  And best part is you can make them
any time of the year.  Maybe even a birthday.

Thanks for coming by.
Have a wonderful day.
