Vintage

Hello there

How is everyone doing?  Here in Virginia we are enjoying our
Cicadas.  Yes, every 17 years they come out and they are very loud.  But
very interesting.  I know it's driving a lot of people crazy but I'm actually
enjoying them.  I mean think about it, every 17 years.  That's pretty cool.
Oh and did I mention as long as they don't touch me that it.  LOL

Today Stephanie at Whimsical Wednesday challenge
us to create something Vintage.  All she asked was for us to give it a Vintage feel.

I altered a small box using Graphic 45 paper "Le Romantique".
I used gold acrylic paint on the box and then Mod Podge to place the paper down.
I added a couple of flowers and added some gold glitter on the edges. Then I added
a Tim Holts ornate plate.  Inside the plate I added the sentiment "Sweet friend"
from the "Everyday Sentiments" stamp set.

Our Sponsor this week isScrapping Memories
The prize is 5 free files of winner's choice.

Thank you for dropping by.  I can't wait to see your Vintage creation.
Have a great day
Yvette
