This is my 3rd post in one week. Roarrrrrr!! I've been multi tasking like
crazy. Working, helping with the grand kids and pouncing in my Den
creating and altering. Life is good.
You should be coming to me from Sherain's Blog. If you didn't then you
want to make sure you started with Elsa.
Well today my cubbie friends and I at the Den with Just a few designs have
been very busy. Our Mama Cub Elsa has challenged us once again.
This month she challenge us to create a box for Mother's Day.
We are calling it "A Box for Mommy".
We are calling it "A Box for Mommy".
Any box, any size, what ever we wanted.
I decided to altered this box which is 7 1/2 by 5 3/4.
As you can see I used the Graphic 45 paper "A Ladies Diary." I think as soon as
I heard the word box, I knew what paper I was going to use right away.
All the flowers are from IAM. I added a little feather to match the feather in
the ladies hat. The corner medal and the key are from Monica, over at the
Scrap Yard on FB. The lace was given to me but I can't remember who.
Sorry. Than a little bling from Recollection. Oh yes, I also added some
legs to it to give it a lift. The legs and edges are painted with
Acrylic paint call "Metallic 14 karat gold."
I will be giving this to my daughter from her daughters for Mother's Day.
Which is why I placed their picture in the middle of the box.
I hope she likes it. Here is my You Tube video on this project.
Well friends, I am the last one in the line up so I hope you all had fun pouncing
into all the Dens. And I hope we inspired you to create a gift box
for someone special this Mother's Day or any day. Once again in behave
of our Den we thank you for hopping along.
Below is the line up in case you need it.
Take care my friend.
