Happy Wednesday! I hope you all had a great Memorial weekend. I was on
vacation last week and had a great time. Visiting Williamsburg VA and it's
history was very exciting. So enough about me, this week my DT project for
Whimsical Designs is "Recycle it." Our challenge was to
create any project and use something you would normally throw out.
So I decided to make a smash book and use a cereal box for my front and back
cover. I also recycled old composition paper I found in my daughter's closet
from when she was in High School. LOL she's 23 now!!
My smash book / Junk journal is 6 X 9. I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the
cereal box. I then cut the composition paper to the same size. The inner inserts were
old scrap paper I had in my stash. I added a chain and some charms, including the keys
which are from Micheal's dollar bin. Both sentiments are from Whimsical Fun Vol. 1
