"I Do"

Hey there!!!

Don't you love weekends.  I had to work today Saturday but now I'm home relaxing,  resting  and it feels good.   Tonight I wanted to share with you my project for the I AM ROSES challenge contest.  It has to be monochromatic.  Just whites, creams,  beige, etc.  At first I had no idea what to make but after looking at some pictures and watching other videos I made my decision.   I'll just make a layout!!  Like many of you girls, I have not done much with my wedding pictures.  And so I thought this was a perfect excuse to finally do something.

All of the flowers are from IAR with the exception of one.  Don't you love my ornamental corners.  I love them.  They are from Lindy's Stamp gang.  http://www.lindystampgang.com/ornamental-corners/

The lazer cute window I picked up a couple of years ago at the EXPO convention.  I did forget to mention in the my video that the paper is from Anna Griffin Inc.

Today after work I went to Michael's and picked up a shadow box so I can display it in my home.

Here is my YT video that shows all the details.

I hope you guys like it as much as I do.  Here is the link to the IAR challenge.  Let me know what you think.  I love hearing from you.  So, now go ahead and enter your project.  http://youtu.be/bpMKz-ergo4  and good luck to you :-)

Graduation Card

Hola!!

It's that time of year.  Graduation time!!  We had 2 graduations this year in my family.  One niece graduated from College and another niece graduated yesterday from High School.  Here is one of the cards I made for this special event.  The card is size A2.  I started with the Mariposa paper, and then I added some lace and trim from my stash.  I cut out the little girl with my Cricut machine using the "Paper Doll Dress Up" cartridge at 3 inches and dressed her up in a white cap and gown just like my niece.  She just colored her hair blonde so I tried to get it as close as possible.  :-)  I kept it very simple since the paper already had a lot going on.  I finished it up with a stamp which I thought was very inspirational.  And here it is:

She loved it and I hope you like it too.  Congrats to all the graduates out there.  Good luck and best wishes to all!!!

Father's Day layout

Hello everyone

Tonight I am sharing with you a layout that I made for my DT with Creano con Detalles.  http://www.creandocondetalles.blogspot.com/  The digital collage that I used is from one of our DT member and graphic designer Janza Bibiana Roncancio.  You can get her digital file at http://creandocondetalles.com/.  She has other digital files, as well as the seam binding, pom poms and flowers.  The smaller flowers on each side are from recollection.  Also check out the beautiful leaf that I got from Lindy's Stamp Gang.   I sprayed it with "Aloha Avocado".   The token "unique" is from Tim Holtz.  Ahh and the lovely scrabble piece is from Bead Landing call "found objects" that I purchased at Michaels.  I choose the P for "papa" (father in spanish).   And of course the paper pad that I used is call  Victorian Parlour.  Purchased at Joanne's and a birthday gift from my sister.  :-)

Well now I just have to add some pictures and tada!!  A layout for father's Day.
Have a great scrappy week my friends.
